How to get it
Apply to NT WorkSafe for an unrestricted electrical work licence on the approved form. The Electrical Safety Regulator must be satisfied that you have the training and experience needed for the licence. Since 1 July 2024, licences are issued under the Electrical Safety Act 2022. You can lodge your application in person, by email or by post at the Territory Business Centre, with proof of identity.
