Care work usually needs a Working with Children Check or NDIS worker screening before you start. Your employer has to see it before your first shift.

What you do

You help people with disability with personal care, getting around, cooking, housework and shopping. You go with them during daily activities and help arrange social activities. You also give companionship and emotional support.
