Electrical, plumbing and gas work without the right licence can injure or kill people and is an offence. Only do the work your licence or supervision allows.
What you do
You read plans and drawings to set out the work. You install and repair pipes, hot and cold water systems, toilets and other fixtures, and drains. Some plumbers also install gas appliances, fire sprinklers or metal roofing and gutters.
