How to get it

First finish the training courses listed in Part 3 of the Security Industry Regulation 2003, plus a current first aid certificate. Most security employee subclasses also need workplace rights and responsibilities training. Before you apply you need a police check that is no more than 2 months old. Then apply to Access Canberra. Some offences stop you from getting a licence. Crowd control is subclass 1C. Crowd controllers at licensed venues also need an RSA certificate.
